Nearby the station and outlet mall so food choice was not an issue There are buses near the hotel that travels different parts of the sightseeing area. Price is very reasonable for the locations.

The hotel is located near Karuizawa Station, just a few minutes' walk to Prince Outlet and Old Ginza town. Staff are helpful and accommodating. Rooms are bigger than usual, clean and quiet. They have a free coffee available at the lobby, perfect during winter.

Location was perfect - the hotel is right by JR Karuizawa Station as well as the bus stop that brings tourists to Kyu Karuizawa, Mikasa Dori, Shiraito Falls, and all the way to Kusatsu Onsen. So you can do a day trip to Kusatsu Onsen straight from the bus stop that is really close by the hotel. Not to mention, the beds were extremely comfortable! Perfect for sinking into after a long day of sightseeing. The room was spacious, and the bathtub was actually bigger than expected from other APA Hotels I've been to.

Functional compact room handy to the train station. Arrived at train station at 5.10pm and after check-in got a reasonable length sleep, shower and change of clothes checking out around 9am to put my bags in a locker at the train station. For those without a vehicle, consider the Karuizawa free pass. Please note that the Red Metro bus is unable to take passengers when the road is wet to Usui Observation Platform. All the other buses were running in the wet and I highly recommend Shirato Falls and Harunire Terrace where I had a terrific Indian meal.

Check in went well and information from the hotel about nearby eating places went well. Location is good - easy to spot from the train station. Room is clean.

The location is good and easy to arrive at. The room was larger than other places. The staff were very friendly and they helped us with everything

Not directly connected to the station but still the best location you can get. The room is small as always, but the high ceiling in my room helped. Expect the sound of trains passing if your room is facing the railway, not a problem for me but some people might want to bring their earplugs. It amazingly has the thickest toilet paper during my entire trip, the last thing I would expect from APA but definitely a nice surprise.

Almost everything. Love that I can leave my bags over instead of early checking in. The room is exceptionally good as for such value. Not a new hotel, but it's truly good, just so convenient as its location and facilities and all the vanity all you need as you're travelling.
